Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Lucas Leiva’s performance in 2-0 Hull defeat

Liverpool crashed to another disappointing defeat this weekend.

Liverpool’s poor run continued as they lost 2-0 away to Hull City on Saturday.

Goals from Alfred N’Diaye and Oumar Niasse ensured the Tigers maintained their superb start under new manager Marco Silva, while the Reds were left to rue another disappointing showing.

With Chelsea continuing to surge away at the top of the table, Liverpool may have seen their title chances fade away in the last few weeks, and their fans were questioning some of manager Jurgen Klopp’s decisions this time out.

Among them was the inclusion of Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva at the heart of Liverpool’s defence, while promising youngster Joe Gomez sat unused on the bench.

Lucas has featured a few times at the back this season but it has rarely looked like the right move and Hull certainly made Liverpool pay on Saturday.
