Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is reportedly set to join Lazio in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Lucas Leiva with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.

Lucas has been linked with a move from Premier League club Liverpool to Serie A outfit Lazio.

It has been reported by Sky Sports that Lazio have agreed a fee of £5 million with the Reds over the transfer of the 30-year-old defensive midfielder.

According to the report, the Brazilian now needs to agree personal terms and pass a medical before completing his switch to Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Lucas has been on the books of Liverpool since 2007 when he moved from Brazilian club Gremio and is the Reds’ longest-serving player.

The Merseyside outfit finished fourth in the Premier League last season and could feature in the group stage of the Champions League during the 2017-18 campaign.
