Lazar Markovic played for the Liverpool Under-23 side against their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts at Anfield on Friday.

Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Lazar Markovic for the Under-23 side on Friday evening.
Markovic featured for the Liverpool Under-23 team against their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts at Anfield in the Premier League 2 game.
The 23-year-old winger started the match and played for 63 minutes, as the Merseyside outfit won 4-2.
The Serbia international provided an assist, but his overall performance left much to be desired, and the Liverpool fans were not impressed.

Markovic joined Liverpool from Benfica in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £20 million.
Much was expected of the Serbian winger when he arrived at Anfield, but he has failed to make a huge impact at the Premier League club.
The 23-year-old had been out on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City during his time at Liverpool so far.
