Barcelona star Javier Mascherano has been linked with a move back to Liverpool.

Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Barcelona star Javier Mascherano.
Mascherano, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, has been on the books of Barcelona since the summer of 2010 and has a contract with the Spanish giants until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Argentina international star joined the Spanish giants from Liverpool in the summer of 2010 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £17.25 million.

The former West Ham United ace was very successful during his spell at Anfield, and his impressive performances for the Reds saw him earn the move to Barcelona.
Mascherano has been integral to Barcelona’s success over the past few years, winning La Liga four times and the Champions League twice so far with the Blaugrana.
According to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool are interested in re-signing Mascherano, who is claimed to be considering leaving Camp Nou with in 2018 or in 2019 as a free agent.
