Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the permanent departure of Iago Aspas.
The 27-year-old striker will return to his former club Celta de Vigo after they struck a deal with Sevilla.
Aspas joined Premier League outfit Liverpool from Celta in the summer of 2013, but he failed to make an impact at Anfield in the 2013-14 campaign.
The Spaniard could make only 14 appearances in the Premier League that season, failing to score a single goal and creating eight chances.
Liverpool sent Aspas on loan to Sevilla for 2014-15, with the Spanish club obliged to make the deal permanent for €7 million at the end of the campaign, according to ESPN.
Sevilla have signed Aspas on a permanent basis, but they have decided to sell him to Celta due to the striker’s limited impact.
