Liverpool have been linked with a surprise move for Tottenham’s Heung Min Son.

Liverpool fans hold scarves ahead of the Premier League match between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield on December 10, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Liverpool fans have been having their say on links to Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung Min Son.

German outlet Sport1 report Son is open to a move away from Spurs with his contract running out in 2020.

Liverpool are credited with interest, along with Manchester United and Arsenal.

It would be a big mistake for Spurs to let Son join any of their rivals, including Liverpool.

One of the reasons Sport1 claims Son is open to a move is his desire to win trophies, but Liverpool are themselves on a barren run without a trophy, last winning the League Cup in 2012 and the FA Cup in 2006.

Son is a likeable player who several Liverpool fans are keen on, but at the same time, are not sure quite where he would fit into their preferred XI.

He would have to compete with either Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane for a starting spot, two players who are at the top of their game right now.

If Liverpool were to pay the sort of astronomical fee required to land Son from Spurs, really it would be best spent on a guaranteed starter, with goalkeeper a glaring area of need.
