Torres is an attacking player who features on the wing and he is already pushing for involvement in Valencia’s first team.
The interest from clubs clearly sparked Valencia into trying to improve Torres’ contract, as his current release clause made him a potential bargain.
Liverpool are right to be keen, but Torres will have to weigh up whether he feels he would get closer to first team football by moving to Merseyside.
