Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Everton’s interest in David Neres

Marco Silva’s Everton side are said to be rivalling Liverpool for David Neres this summer.

Liverpool fans do not appear concerned over the threat of Everton in the race to sign David Neres.

According to Le 10 Sport, Liverpool are keen to sign Neres, who has also been linked with Everton recently.

UOL claim that Marco Silva and Marcel Brands are interested in bringing the youngster to Goodison Park in a £38 million deal.

However, Liverpool supporters think that they will be able to blow Everton out of the water in any transfer battle.

Liverpool are set to be able to offer Neres Champions League football, if they do go for him, which obviously puts them at an advantage over Everton.

However, the route into the Toffees’ first team looks easier than it does at Anfield.

Everton do appear to have plenty of money to spend, and Neres would fit into the sort of player Marcel Brands has hinted they are after this summer, with youngsters on their wishlist.
