The injury prone striker performed well after coming off the bench.

Liverpool put in one of their best displays in the Champions League this season after dealing out a thrashing to Porto in Portugal.
A hat-trick from Sadio Mane and goals from Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino saw Liverpool beat Porto 5-0 at the Dragao Stadium.
The result seemingly puts the tie beyond doubt and there will be a chance to see some Liverpool fringe players get an opportunity in the return leg at Anfield.

One such player who could be looking at a chance in the first-team is striker Danny Ings.
He came on in the final stages of the 5-0 win and impressed, even setting up the fifth Liverpool goal.
Ings has had a torrid time since moving to Liverpool from Burnley in 2015. He suffered a serious knee injury in his first training session under Jurgen Klopp. A year later, he suffered knee damage again but this time in his left knee.
It has meant a stop-start beginning to his Liverpool adventure but he is still highly rated by Klopp and Liverpool fans are also keen to see what he can do.

His 10 minute cameo marked his Champions League debut and he took to it like a duck to water and would surely relish the chance to get a full 90 minutes in the competition when Porto come to town on the 6th March.
Liverpool fans were certainly impressed by his performance and are clearly hoping he gets a chance in the second leg…
