Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made the switch from Celtic to Leicester City.
Liverpool fans have provided mixed views on Twitter to their former manager Brendan Rodgers leaving Celtic to join Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Foxes confirmed on their official Twitter account on Tuesday that they have appointed Rodgers as their manager after he left the Scottish Premiership champions.
During his career, he has managed the likes of Liverpool, Swansea, Watford and dominated at his previous club in Scotland before making an early surprise departure.
Nonetheless, during Rodgers time at Anfield, he came close to lifting the Premier League title with the club, letting slip a three-goal lead at Crystal Palace during the penultimate week of the season.
It went downhill from then onwards, he was replaced by Jurgen Klopp as Rodgers went on to win seven trophies in Scotland, including the treble in back-to-back seasons.
Now, the Northern Irishman returns to England, with some Reds fans happy to see him back and others not so. But there were a few who were hoping he can do them a favour in the title race.
One fan stated that Rodgers and Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez, who will come up against Liverpool before the season draws to close, can help them ‘win the league’ ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Nonetheless, Rodgers joins a team that recently picked up a much-needed 2-1 win at home to relegation-threatened Brighton, with their new manager watching on from the stands.
His first game in charge of the Midlands club will be against Watford at the weekend where he will be hoping to kick-off his reign with three points.
