Liverpool and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw in the UEFA Youth League earlier, with the Citizens going through on penalties.

Liverpool fans have failed to be impressed by the performance of Ben Woodburn for their under-19’s.
Liverpool took on Manchester City earlier today, with the two sides drawing 1-1 during the contest.
Woodburn was selected to start in the contest, but the striker did not catch the eye.

The Welsh international, who has been tipped to have a very bright future at Anfield, was unable to get particularly involved. In-fact, Woodburn faced criticism for his role in the goal which the Reds conceded.
And Liverpool fans are becoming slightly concerned over the lack of progress which Woodburn has made this season.
Liverpool actually took the lead against City, when Curtis Jones found the back of the net, but Lukas Nmecha fired in City’s equaliser.
In the end, it required penalty kicks to separate the two sides, with Manchester City just progressing.
Woodburn has only made one appearance for Liverpool’s senior side in the EFL Cup so far this season, after looking as if he was on the brink on making a breakthrough back in 2016.
