Liverpool fans have been having their say on sending Ben Woodburn out on loan to Rangers, and the reaction is mixed.

Steven Gerrard was announced as Rangers manager earlier this month and he has steadily been linked with loaning young Liverpool players.

Harry Wilson and Dominic Solanke have been linked, before The Express claimed this week that Ben Woodburn has emerged as a strong option.

Woodburn is one of Liverpool’s brightest young talents and the Reds refused to loan him out in January when there was interest.

He has though found it tough to break into a prolific attack and Liverpool fans feel that a loan switch would be in his best interests.

The only sticking point is whether Rangers are the right club, with supporters questioning the standard of football in the Scottish Premiership, and the stability of the Gers… and if Gerrard will last the season at Ibrox.

Woodburn has made terrific progress in his career so far, scoring for Liverpool’s first team in the League Cup, and netting at international level for Wales, but he has only 11 senior club appearances under his belt.
