Liverpool fans discuss possibility of a move for Max Meyer.

Liverpool fans are hoping the club can tie up a deal for German attacker Max Meyer.
Meyer will be a free agent in the summer and Schalke have given up hope of retaining his services.
The Bundesliga side had hope they could convince Meyer to sign a new contract, but sporting director Christian Heidel confirmed yesterday he will move on.
He was quoted by ESPN: “Transfers are part of football. We will not make him a new offer, but there will be no bad blood.”

Meyer has regularly been linked with Liverpool, with the Liverpool Echo recently reporting their interest.
The 22-year-old has already been capped at senior international level by Germany.
This season the midfielder has struggled for form though, with no goals and no assists in his 21 starts in the Bundesliga this season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is renowned for his ability to develop talent and Meyer should jump at the chance to work with him if the Reds show interest.
Liverpool signed Joel Matip on a free from Schalke last season and may well be tempted to make another raid on the club.
