Liverpool supporters are convinced that they have the best left-back in the world right now in their squad.

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to laud Andrew Robertson’s display during the Reds’ 3-0 win away at Watford at the weekend, with some insisting that he has to be considered the best left-back in the world right now.
Jurgen Klopp’s side picked up an important win at Vicarage Road as second-half goals from Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino ensured that they keep the pressure on Manchester City.
It was perhaps not the finest 3-0 win that Liverpool will secure this term, but it says a lot about this current Reds side that they are picking up emphatic victories when they are not at their fluent best.
One player however, who undoubtedly impressed the supporters with his display was Robertson. The left-back was fortunate that he did not give a penalty away, but the rest of his play was superb.

It was his brilliant run in the dying minutes of the game that led to Firmino completing the scoring for the visitors, and the fans clearly felt that he was one of the standout performers in the side.
In fact, some are convinced that the £8 million signing (via BBC Sport) currently has to be thought of as the best player in his position in the world, which is a frightening thought given that he is just 24.

Here is what some of the supporters were saying about Robertson’s display after the victory…
