Liverpool youngster Allan Rodrigues de Souza took on Everton in the Europa League.

Liverpool talent Allan Rodrigues de Souza got the rare opportunity to play in Merseyside last night – but it came at Goodison Park.
The Reds signed Allan from Brazilian side Internacional in 2015 after impressing at a youth tournament, but is yet to feature for the club.
He has been out on loan at SJK in Finland, Sint-Truiden in Belgium, and German side Hertha Berlin, before joining Greek side Apollon Limassol this season.

Apollon were drawn against Everton in the Europa League group stages, and Allan was selected as a starter at Goodison last night.
The 20-year-old played all 90 minutes for the Greeks as he helped his side frustrate Everton and earn a 2-2 draw.
Allan had two shots at goal which both finished off target, while completing 88 per cent of his passes in a central midfield role.

Defensively he found it a bit more tricky, making four fouls and failing to win a tackle, while making one interception
For many Liverpool fans it was their first look at Allan in action, and while it was clear he has plenty of work to do to improve his game, there were signs of encouragement.
Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his performance…
