Liverpool claimed an important win at Turf Moor, but plenty of supporters were not impressed by Alberto Moreno’s display.

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Alberto Moreno’s display in the Reds’ 3-1 win away at Burnley on Wednesday night – and while some felt that the Spaniard did well enough, others were not impressed.
Jurgen Klopp’s side picked up an impressive win at Turf Moor after going a goal down shortly after the break. James Milner equalised eight minutes later before Roberto Firmino put Liverpool in front.
Xherdan Shaqiri’s well-taken goal in added-time made the points safe for the visitors, who dominated possession and ensured that the gap at the top of the Premier League table remains just two points.
Unfortunately for Moreno, he probably did not find the kind of performance he needed as he looks to put some pressure on Andy Robertson at left-back.

As shown by Whoscored, the 26-year-old found a teammate with 38 of his 45 passes, but only managed to make one successful tackle during the game. His pass success rate was the third-lowest for the Reds, with Daniel Sturridge and Joel Matip proving to be only members of the starting lineup who did worse in that area.
And that has prompted a number of Liverpool fans to be incredibly critical of Moreno’s performance on social media. Some are convinced that Klopp should not select him again, despite some supporters believing that he did not perform that badly given that it was only his second league appearance of the campaign.

Here is what the fans made of Moreno’s display…
