Adam Bogdan has left Liverpool to join Hibernian on loan.

Bogdan was Liverpool’s fourth choice goalkeeper and faced becoming fifth in line if the club add another new shot stopper as is expected this summer.

Stuck behind Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet and Danny Ward, there was no path to first team football for the Hungarian.
He has joined Hibernian on a season long loan, and will likely leave the Reds on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires.

Bogdan will be remembered for his clanger against Watford in one of Jurgen Klopp’s first games in charge of the club back in 2015.
His time at Anfield has also been marred by a serious knee injury from which he has fully recovered and he is now looking to get his career back on track.
He will do so in the Scottish Premiership where he will oppose the man who signed him, Brendan Rodgers, manager of Celtic.
Here is a look at how Liverpool fans reacted on Twitter to Bogdan’s departure…
