Liverpool defender helped keep a clean sheet.
Low key summer signing Ragnar Klavan helped Liverpool to a clean sheet as they recorded an impressive away victory over Middlesbrough.
The Reds dispatched Aitor Karanka’s side without much trouble, winning 3-0 with Adam Lallana (2) and Divock Origi on the scoresheet.
Klavan lined up alongside Dejan Lovren at the back and did not look out of place at all.

The Estonian was a formidable presence at the back, completing 91 per cent of his passes.
It was the sort of display which demonstrated why Liverpool bought him in the summer, and replicated his performances for Augsburg against the Reds last season in the Europa League.
Joel Matip missed the game with an injury despite travelling with the squad, but Klavan’s display showed his ability to slot in and be a positive rather than a negative.
