Liverpool weren’t busy in the summer window, but may have a signing in mind for 2022 having targeted Pogon Szczecin wonderkid Kacper Kozlowski.

The Mirror claim that Liverpool are ‘closing in’ on signing Kozlowski even though Pogon don’t want to sell in January.

Kozlowski may only join Liverpool at the end of the season, but it seems that the Reds are trying to tee up a deal.

Who is Kacper Kozlowski?

Kozlowski, 17, is likened to Kevin De Bruyne in the report having made a huge impact over in Poland.

In 36 games for Pogon Szczecin, Kozłowski already has four goals and five assists.

Primarily a number 10, Kozlowski has shown enormous potential and Liverpool’s interest is no shock.

This summer, Kozlowski became the youngest-ever player to play at the European Championships.

Jude Bellingham had set the record just days before Kozlowski, but the Pole now holds the record.

Liverpool fans react to Kozlowski rumours

Liverpool fans have been commenting on the Kozlowski rumours, branding him ‘incredibly good’.

Others believe that Kozlowski must have ‘world class’ potential given his Euro 2020 appearances.

Some are begging Liverpool to get Kozlowski signed, adding that he is ‘brilliant’ and has ‘proper mentality’.

One fan even noted that Kozlowski actually has more potential than Liverpool’s current Polish wonderkid Mateusz Musialowski as the Reds go for another Pole.
