Tottenham and Liverpool stars combined as England triumphed over Spain.

Eric Dier is known for his no-nonsense approach when it comes to defending and the Tottenham Hotspur man delighted Liverpool supporters for his first-half tackle on Real Madrid and Spain star Sergio Ramos.
England earned an excellent 3-2 victory at Real Betis’ stadium on Monday night in the UEFA Nations League, with many describing the victory as England’s best since beating Germany 5-1 in Munich in 2001.
England led 3-0 at the break thanks to a brace from Raheem Sterling and one from Marcus Rashford, while a backs-to-the-wall job saw England hold onto a lead despite goals from Paco Alcacer and Ramos.
But it was in the first half where Dier caught the praise of Liverpool fans, as he steamrolled into Ramos despite the defender being inside his own box. With momentum, Dier got the ball and then plenty of the man.

Despite making plenty of contact with the ball before the man, Dier received a yellow card for the tackle on Ramos – who is hated by sections of the Liverpool support for injuring Mo Salah in the Champions League final last season.
So, Liverpool fans put aside rivalry between Tottenham and their side to applaud Dier for clattering into former Sevilla defender Ramos in what was a proper old-fashioned tackle.
