Liverpool fans have been reacting with disbelief to the reports suggesting that Inter Milan are preparing a £35 million move for Sadio Mane.
Liverpool fans have been reacting on Twitter to reports coming out of the Daily Express which suggest that Inter Milan want to sign Sadio Mane – but while reports of their interest may not be a surprise, the fee that the Serie A giants are planning to offer has certainly left the Reds fans confused.
Mane enjoyed a fantastic first season at Anfield, scoring 13 times and contributing five assists in 27 Premier League appearances following his £34 million move from Southampton last summer, as reported by the Express.

Given that form, it would certainly be unsurprising if some of Europe’s top clubs were keen on targeting the Senegal international – with the Express reporting that the Nerazzurri are keen to bring the 25-year-old to San Siro ahead of the new season.
However, what has angered the large majority of Liverpool fans is the Express’ suggestion that Inter are planning to offer £35 million for the playmaker.
Not only would this see the Reds make just £1 million profit on a player who enjoyed a fine debut campaign at Anfield and has arguably taken his game to another level, but it would look like an absolute bargain given some of the fees that have been paid so far this summer.
Unsurprisingly therefore, Liverpool fans have largely laughed off the suggestion that the club will even need to consider such a bid if it does indeed come in.
