Liverpool won the Champions League on Saturday night.
Liverpool have been celebrating their Champions League win – and Harry Maguire has been congratulating some of their key players.
The Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s final, as goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi handed Jurgen Klopp a 2-0 victory.
A year on from losing to Real Madrid, Liverpool have exorcised their demons, as has Klopp himself having been carrying around a torrid record in finals.
Celebrations are continuing all over the world, as Liverpool have racked up a sixth European Cup win, leaving Reds fans in party mode just weeks after missing out on the Premier League title.
After Saturday’s win, Leicester City defender Maguire took to Twitter to send messages to both Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, having played with the duo with Hull City and England respectively.
Liverpool fans responded to Maguire’s tweets, urging him to join the Reds and partner Virgil van Dijk in the heart of Jurgen Klopp’s defence next season.
That seems like an unlikely move, with Maguire rated at around £75million according to the Daily Mail.
Yet with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City keen, it would be some statement signing from the Reds, whilst reuniting the impressive signing with two players he’s seemingly close with.
