Rangers have brought Michael Beale to Ibrox to work with Steven Gerrard.

Steven Gerrard unveiled his backroom staff at Rangers this week and managing to land Michael Beale could be his biggest coup.

Beale has a glowing reputation for his work in youth football and Rangers are fortunate to bring him to Ibrox.

The move to Rangers is the end of his second spell at Anfield, after he left previously to go and coach in Brazil.

Beale posted on Twitter expressing his excitement at the switch.

After seeing his exit confirmed, Liverpool supporters had mixed messages for him about joining Rangers.

Beale is clearly held in high regard by Liverpool fans and that itself shows Rangers they should be encouraged.

His decision to join Rangers shows both the faith he has in Steven Gerrard, and in the huge opportunity he has at the club.

Rangers’ youth sides are blessed with bright talents like Serge Atakayi, Dap Mebude and Liam Burt and they will all benefit from working with Beale.
