The Spain international has missed Liverpool’s last two games.
Last week, he sat out the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur and the 3-3 League Cup draw with Leicester City in midweek.
It’s perhaps no coincidence that the Reds failed to win both games that the midfield maestro missed but he returned a positive covid test prior to the trip to North London.
Liverpool take on Leicester again on Tuesday, this time in the Premier League.
And Thiago has boosted his chances of being available by revealing on Twitter that he has recovered from the coronavirus.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich midfielder has been sensational for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
Michael Edwards brought him to Anfield in a £20 million deal in 2020 but it was an inconsistent first year on Merseyside for the La Masia graduate.
However, this time around, he’s truly a massive player for Liverpool.
Even if he isn’t available for the Leicester game, Klopp’s side kick off 2022 with a huge Premier League clash with Chelsea next Sunday.
And if Thiago is available for the visit to Stamford Bridge, well that’s an enormous boost for the Reds.
