Everton will be paying an initial £25million for Kean, rising to £36million, and whilst Juventus wanted a buy-back clause, they’ve had to settle for a first option in a future deal.
It’s enough of a coup to get Kean in the first place, but to make sure that Juventus don’t have a buy-back clause is quite remarkable.
Kean, 19, hit six goals in just 13 games for Juventus last season, which is even more impressive when you realise that only five of those games came as a starter.
The Italian looks set for a huge future, and many are stunned that Juventus have let him go, leaving Liverpool fans to react to their city rivals securing such an impressive deal.
