Liverpool fans rave about Ryan Brewster’s wonder goal for U23’s

The Liverpool youngster returned to action today, with a 45 minute run out for the under-23 side.

Rhian Brewster has been out injured for around 15 months, and the 18-year-old striker played 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the club’s Academy in Kirkby today, scoring two goals in the process, much to the delight of Liverpool fans.

Brewster is highly rated at Anfield, but he is still yet to make a senior appearance for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Injuries have obviously hampered his progress, however.

The teenager will have his work cut-out, if he is to break into the Liverpool first-team over the next year or so, however, with so many world-class forwards currently ahead of him in the pecking order at the club.

Now that he is nearing full fitness, it might just be in his best interest to go out on loan next season, and get some regular first-team football under his belt.
