Liverpool fans have been left very impressed by Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele, ahead of Thursday night’s clash.
Ndombele was in action for Spurs last night, as he arrived off the bench to help them beat Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup.
Ndombele was introduced with the scores locked at 1-1, but the Frenchman quickly showed his class – as Spurs ran out comfortable winners in the end.
And Liverpool supporters were seriously impressed with the impact that Ndombele made, with some concerned about the damage he could do in two days’ time.
Liverpool will certainly have to keep a close watch on Ndombele, who has scored three goals in his last two outings, if they are to pick up the victory in what could be a huge match for both sides.
If Liverpool can get the three points then concerns will reduce about their poor form, but another defeat would really leave them a long way behind in the title race.
Tottenham, meanwhile, could put themselves right in the hunt for top spot if they can pick up a win.
