Some Liverpool fans have to Twitter to give their reaction to comments from Manchester United interim-manager Ralf Rangnick.

Rangnick was recently appointed as the new interim-manager of Manchester United.

And in his very first press conference, the German spoke about United’s bitter rivals Liverpool.

The Red Devils will take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

United won against Arsenal in the Premier League on Thursday.

Rangnick, who earns £8 million per month as salary (The Mirror), spoke to the press ahead of the match.

What Ralf Rangnick has said about Liverpool

The Liverpool Echo quotes Rangnick as saying: “When Jurgen came to Liverpool, the squad he had at the time was definitely not better than the one we have here.

“It’s about winning games and, in the end, I’m very ambitious. We want to make the most successful season that is possible.

“Right now, we have to be realistic. The difference between us and the top three is big. But let’s see.”

What are Liverpool fans saying?

As you can see from the tweets below, some Liverpool fans have given their take on Rangnick’s comments.

In our view, Rangnick is pretty much stating the obvious.

Manchester United have a very strong squad.

Just look at some of the players.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, David de Gea, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane all are quality players.

Yes, Liverpool have one of the strongest squads in Europe.

But, the likes of Mohamed Salah, Alisson, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk all came after Klopp was appointed as the Liverpool boss.
