The Spurs boss says he wants all four Premier League teams in the quarter-finals.

Tottenham Hotspur were the first Premier League team to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season thanks to their 1-0 win over Borussia Dortmund completing a 4-0 aggregate win in the last 16 on Tuesday night.
The following day, Manchester United completed a remarkable comeback when they overturned a 2-0 deficit against Paris Saint-Germain to run out 3-1 winners on the night at the Parc des Princes, thanks to Marcus Rashford’s late penalty, to advance on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate scoreline.
Next week, Manchester City and Liverpool will see out their last-16 ties against Schalke 04 and Bayern Munich respectively, the Citizens hosting their opponents while 3-2 up, and the Reds currently 0-0 ahead of their trip to Bavaria.
With the possibility of all four Premier League teams in the hat for the quarter-finals, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke ahead of this weekend’s league meeting with Southampton and said he wanted to see Man City and Liverpool progress too.

“It is fantastic,” he told Sky Sports News. “Both clubs in the quarter-finals is massive for English football, and I hope Manchester City and Liverpool can be in the quarter-finals. I am a person that always tries to help English football, and it’s going to be amazing if there are four teams in the quarter-finals.”
In response, some Liverpool fans took to Twitter and gave their thoughts on the Argentine’s goodwill comments:
