Liverpool have announced the capture of teenager Harvey Elliott.

Liverpool announced the signing of Harvey Elliott this afternoon.
The 16-year-old becomes only the Reds’ second summer addition, after bringing fellow teenager Sepp van den Berg to Melwood last month.
Elliott made three Premier League appearances for Fulham last season and became the youngest player in the history of the competition to make his top-flight debut.
He is one of the most exciting prospects in English football right now and here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to his arrival.
This is an exciting addition but many Liverpool fans could be forgiven for also wanting senior players at Anfield this summer.
Jurgen Klopp’s side might’ve won the Champions League, but they missed out on Premier League glory by a point and, logically, you wonder how they’re going to pose more of a threat to Manchester City this season.
Pep Guardiola has strengthened his ranks in recent months and perhaps Klopp could be accused of resting on his laurels a little.
The transfer window closes on August 8 and if Liverpool don’t sign a tried-and-tested player, and don’t win the title come May, then the German manager and Michael Edwards may have answers to give next summer.
