Liverpool fans keen on signing son of Manchester United goalkeeper.

Liverpool’s search for a new goalkeeper is at a crossroads and more desperate than ever due to Loris Karius’ Champions League nightmare.
Reds fans are debating potential signings and one name under discussion yesterday was Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Supporters on Twitter believe the Denmark international goalkeeper is a clear upgrade for them, in the short term even if not long term.
There is one big sticking point, Schmeichel’s father Peter and his status as a Manchester United legend.
Schmeichel senior did betray United at the end of his career by playing for rivals City, and son Kasper did the same, even having a loan at their old time rivals Leeds.

His spell at City was viewed dimly by Red Devils fans, and seeing a ‘Schmeichel’ wearing Liverpool red just would not seem right to fans of both clubs.
Nonetheless, some Liverpool fans are keen on a potential move for the Leicester City number one, who won the league with the Foxes in 2015/16.
Here is a look at the reaction to his clean sheet for Denmark against Peru…
