Everton star showed good and bad sides against Spain.

England and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had a mixed performance against Spain on the international stage.
The first 45 minutes was a dream, with the ex-Sunderland stopper giving a masterclass in playing out from the back.
Pickford’s passing set England on their way to counter attacking goals, with Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling (2) on the scoresheet.
The second half won’t make his highlight reel.
Pickford was caught trying to be too clever in possession and needed to make a slide tackle to avoid gifting away a goal. He was fortunate not to concede a penalty and receive a red card.
Liverpool fans seized on his mistake, especially after Pickford had promised not to make one last month.

Speaking to The Mail after Alisson’s error for Liverpool against Leicester, Pickford pledged to play it safe.
He said: “I’m going to try not to put myself in that position to make those mistakes.
“It’s the timing of the game, really. You don’t want to get too comfortable if you’re winning and start trying to be a No 10.”
Reds fans were amused by his near calamity against Spain…
