Nathan Ake is already learning from Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk at international level.

One of Chelsea’s most peculiar decisions in recent times – and there have been a few – was to sell Nathan Ake to Bournemouth.
Ake has impressed this season following his £20 million move and has earned a call-up into the Dutch national squad.
The versatile star can play in defence, full-back or midfield, and has been a regular for the Cherries this season.

Last night he was making his 35th appearance of the season, impressing despite his side falling to a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester United.
Supporters of United’s rivals Liverpool appeared particularly impressed with Ake’s performance, and commented on social media throughout the game praising the 23-year-old.
Liverpool may have a chance of signing Ake but it would cost them a high price, with Bournemouth wanting to make a profit on the £20 million they paid.
Ake is a player who Liverpool’s £75 million defender Virgil Van Dijk recently praising the youngster.
Van Dijk told Bournemouth’s Daily Echo“As captain of Holland, I hope for him to grow as a player and as a human being
“I hope he can achieve as much as possible and, when we are with the national team, I can help him as well. He is doing very well and has so much potential.
“Nathan is a great player and a great guy and I like him a lot.”
If Liverpool fans had it their way, Ake would be learning from Van Dijk playing alongside him at Anfield.
