Liverpool fans have been left baffled by Jurgen Klopp’s defence of their side’s performance against West Bromwich Albion.
Liverpool were beaten 3-2 by West Brom in the FA Cup yesterday, but Klopp was not too hard on his team after the game.

The German boss defended his side’s character, as they managed to get back into the game in the second half.
He said to BT Sport: “In the second half we showed character.”
Klopp’s comments have been widely ridiculed by Liverpool fans, who feel he is sounding like Brendan Rodgers.
Liverpool did manage to come back into the contest in the second half, but it still did not stop them falling to a disappointing defeat.
The Reds fell 3-1 behind in the contest, with the Baggies proving to be efficient in front of goal.
Liverpool did pull one back in the second period, when Mohamed Salah pulled one back, but it was not enough.
Liverpool are now out of the FA Cup, and free to focus on matters in the Premier League – where they are challenging for a top four spot.
