Liverpool fans will receive a brilliant piece of news regarding the Fenway Sports Group (FSG) in April, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic are reporting this morning that a new supporters’ board will be formally formed by the start of April.
As reported by The Athletic, Liverpool announced the launch of of a new supporters’ board in December.
The plan is for fans to have their say on issues related to Liverpool, and the Premier League club’s owners, FSG, are happy with it.
It is being reported this morning that ‘solid progress has been made’ over the formation of the supporters’ board, and that ‘legal sign-offs are expected to be completed by the start of April’.
Encouraging for Liverpool fans
In our view, it is very encouraging for Liverpool fans that a new supporters’ board will be in place from next month.
Without fans, football is nothing.
And, in our opinion, it is really great what Liverpool owners FSG are doing.
Under FSG, Liverpool have been hugely successful on the pitch, winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
Now, of course, FSG are not going to be at Liverpool forever, and it is really nice of them to get fans involved.
