Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers signed Ryan Kent on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2018.
Ryan Kent of Rangers
Ryan Kent has been playing well for Rangers this season, and the Liverpool-owned winger did well against Celtic at Celtic Park in the Old Firm derby at the weekend.
Kent, signed on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2018, was in action for Rangers against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old winger was deployed up front following the dismissal of striker Alfredo Morelos in the first half.
The former England Under-20 international scored in the 63rd minute and worked hard, although he was lucky not to be dismissed for lashing out at Celtic midfielder Scott brown.
Kent has made 20 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring six goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Liverpool fans have been discussing the future of Kent following his performance against Celtic, and they do not seem convinced that the youngster has what it takes to be a success at Anfield in the long run – perhaps Rangers could sign the youngster on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.
