Thomas Lemar reportedly prefers Liverpool to Arsenal. Should the Reds have made an offer for the AS Monaco star on transfer deadline day?

Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their disappointment at the club not signing Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco on transfer deadline day.
According to The Independent, both Liverpool and Arsenal were interested in signing Lemar from Monaco on transfer deadline day.
It was reported that Arsenal made an offer of £92 million for the 21-year-old on Thursday afternoon, but the young midfielder turned down the move to the Emirates Stadium.

According to the report, Liverpool is the club of his choice, with The Mirror crediting the Merseyside outfit with interest in the talented France international midfielder.
Lemar was also in action on Thursday evening, scoring twice for France in their 4-0 hammering of the Netherlands in their 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment at the club not putting a bid for Lemar, although some want the Reds to sign him in the January transfer window or next summer.
