Liverpool and Crystal Palace played out a rather dull affair at Anfield.
Liverpool bounced back from a disappointing 3-3 draw with Watford last week to scrape a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in their first Premier League game at Anfield this season.
Sadio Mane was the hero as the Senegalese ace grabbed a 73rd-minute winner to get the Reds out of trouble.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were well off their best from an attacking perspective and one reason for that might be midfielder and captain Jordan Henderson, who was rather ineffective going forward for Liverpool yesterday afternoon.

The 27-year-old completed less than 80 percent of accurate passes and fans of the Merseyside club have been on his back as of late, having posted another questionable display at Vicarage Road eight days ago.
And that criticism shows no sign of abating as Liverpool supporters again expressed their disappointment with Henderson on Twitter after the match yesterday.
It’s still early in the season, however, and Henderson remains an important figure for Klopp.
Indeed, he might well be suffering from a lack of form at the minute, but class, as they say, is permanent and those skeptical fans should be optimistic that the former Sunderland ace will turn it around.
