Liverpool target Alisson was in action at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Liverpool’s season may be over, but Anfield did play host to more football on Sunday afternoon as Brazil took on Croatia at the Reds’ home.
The Champions League final – in which Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid – brought the curtain down on the domestic campaign, and now it’s full steam ahead to the World Cup next week.
Brazil are one of the favourites to win the World Cup in Russia this summer, and they took on Croatia at Anfield on Sunday in order to prepare for their group stage games, which will see them take on Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia.

Tite’s men were fairly poor in the first half, but the introduction of superstar Neymar sparked the game into life, as he went on a mazy run inside the box and smashed home the opening goal with the aid of the crossbar.
Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino then scored on home turf to seal a 2-0 win, bringing down Casemiro’s long pass before lobbing the ball over Croatia goalkeeper Danijel Subasic.
Not only did Firmino score on his home ground, but another notable Brazilian was in action at Anfield, as Liverpool target Alisson – wanted by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp in a £61million deal according to UOL Esporte in Brazil, having held talks before Sunday’s game – started in goal for Brazil.

The Roma shot-stopper has been linked with Liverpool for some time now, and Sunday’s game handed Reds fans a chance to see him in action at a stadium he may well call home at some point this summer.
However, Liverpool fans were left unimpressed by Alisson’s display, suggesting they were far from convinced by the 25-year-old’s display as he uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, with some worried that he may not be much of an upgrade on Loris Karius at all having failed to impress in a friendly.
