Liverpool played two pre-season friendlies on Tuesday evening, with each game lasting just 30 minutes – and Kaide Gordon managed to make an impact.
The Reds are currently training over in Austria, and Jurgen Klopp’s men faced off against Wacker Innsbruck and Stuttgart to kick start their pre-season schedule.
Klopp named two separate teams for these games, but both ended 1-1.
Divock Origi was on the scoresheet against Wacker Innsbruck before Sadio Mane found the net against Stuttgart.
These were just short run-outs to get minutes into the legs of Liverpool players, and half an hour isn’t exactly long for players to gain momentum.
Still, teenager Kaide Gordon did enough to impress in his brief appearance against Wacker Innsbruck having started on the right flank.
Signed from Derby County in February, Gordon doesn’t turn 17 until October but is already making waves at Anfield.

The winger turned out eight times for Liverpool’s Under-18’s last season, and racked up a ridiculous six goals and three assists in that time.
Now given a chance to shine alongside some first-team players, Gordon took his opportunity.
Fans have been taking to Twitter to brand Gordon ‘special’ and ‘one for the future’ having looked so good on Tuesday.
Others felt he was the best player on the pitch and has a huge future ahead of him, dazzling fans with neat footwork.
