The Liverpool striker could not find the net in a crucial match against the Saints.

Liverpool saw their top-four hopes dented as they could only draw 0-0 with Southampton this weekend.
The Reds were hoping to secure another three points and pull further away from the chasing pack in the race for a Champions League place next season. However, Claude Puel’s side held firm to frustrate Liverpool yet again this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had 65 per cent possession on the day but despite racking up 17 goal attempts – eight of which were on target – Liverpool could not get the all-important winner.
Belgian international Divock Origi started for Liverpool; however he was unable to add to his 10 goals and four assists this season, ultimately making way for Daniel Sturridge with just over 20 minutes to play.
The England international instantly added more attacking thrust but it was too little too late.

Liverpool now have 70 points with two league games remaining and they will be hoping the teams directly below them continue to drop points of their own in the weeks ahead to avoid a nervy final weekend.
