Torreira managed to get himself on the scoresheet during the contest, as he poked home from close range.
And the Arsenal midfielder’s message did take a rather celebratory tone.
Liverpool fans were left dumfounded by Torreira’s post on Twitter.
And their replies to the £25 million midfielder (Telegraph) suggest that they were less than impressed by his message.
Liverpool have been handed a quarter-final tie against Aston Villa as their reward for beating Arsenal.
The Gunners’ defeat, meanwhile, has placed Unai Emery under further pressure, with frustrations rising at the Emirates Stadium.
