Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah makes the PFA Team of the Year, but his star teammate did not.

Liverpool fans have expressed their shock after Roberto Firmino was not voted into the PFA Team of the Year.
His Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah did make it in, but he was the only Reds player to do so.
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Tottenham’s Harry Kane were selected ahead of Firmino, with the award voted for by the players.
This is the first time Aguero has made the team of the year, somewhat incredibly, and while there may be a case that Firmino is more deserving this season, the Manchester City league winner was due some recognition.
| Team | Goals | Assists | Total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Harry Kane | Tottenham | 26 | 2 | 28 |
| Sergio Agüero | Man City | 21 | 6 | 27 |
| Roberto Firmino | Liverpool | 15 | 7 | 22 |
Even with assists combined, Firmino has contributed fewer league goals than Aguero and Kane this season.

Liverpool fans though are not happy with his omission, reacting angrily to the snub.
