Fabio Carvalho has joined Liverpool this summer and is already making an impression on his new teammates amid huge praise from Harvey Elliott.
Liverpool are making quite the habit of raiding Fulham for their top young talents.
First it was Elliott himself as he left Fulham for a big move to Anfield in 2019 with Liverpool paying compensation to land the teenager.
Elliott has played 20 first-team games for Liverpool and there will be many, many more to come.
Liverpool then decided to raid Fulham again, snapping up playmaker Carvalho as his contract came to an end.
Fabio Carvalho has joined Liverpool
Liverpool were chasing Carvalho in January but ran out of time to get a deal done and then loan him back to Fulham.
There were many other Premier League clubs interested in signing Carvalho but it was a foregone conclusion for most of 2022 that he was Anfield-bound.
Liverpool paid around £7million in compensation for Carvalho, which could prove to be an absolute bargain.
Whilst Elliott had only played three times for Fulham’s first team, Carvalho was a vital part of Marco Silva’s first team last season.
Carvalho, 19 racked up 11 goals and eight assists in 38 games last season, proving to be an exceptional talent in a promotion-winning campaign.

The Portuguese prospect has now traded West London for Merseyside though and Liverpool fans have plenty to be excited about.
Fellow Fulham youth academy product Elliott has now offered his view on Carvalho after just a few training sessions together at Liverpool.
Elliott has told Liverpool’s official website that he thinks Carvalho has managed to fit into the Reds squad perfectly.
Elliott then added that he thinks Liverpool have an absolute ‘superstar’ on their hands and can’t wait to play together again having been in the Fulham ranks together years ago.
“We’ve had a few chats and he’s asked me a few questions and stuff,” said Elliott. “He’s a great kid as well as a great player and hopefully we get to see it in a couple of days’ time. I can’t say enough about him. I’ve said it so many times, I’ll just let him do the talking – which I’m sure he will do.”
“He’s buzzing to be here, he’s fit in really well with the boys. I’ve done what I could to help him but, to be honest, I didn’t really need to help him. He’s just fit in and everyone’s taken to him already. What a player, by the way. So yeah, we have a true superstar on our hands to say the least and I can’t wait to just share the pitch with him and, like the old times, play alongside him, which will be good,” he added.
