Jamie Carragher has praised Liverpool duo Max Woltman and Tyler Morton on Twitter after they played against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup.

Liverpool took on Shrewsbury in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Woltman, who is 18 and can play as a centre-forward or as an attacking midfielder, started for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Midfielder Morton, 19, was also included in the Liverpool starting lineup.

The Premier League club won the tie 4-1.

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Carragher has praised both Woltman and Morton, as you can see below.

Max Woltman and Tyler Morton are future Liverpool stars

In our view, Morton and Woltman are quality and promising young players who are the future of Liverpool.

Morton is only 19, and Woltman is just 18, and it must be great for the two teenagers to play for the Liverpool first team at this stage of their careers.

Klopp having faith in the duo is very encouraging, and Carragher’s comments on Twitter underline just how highly they are rated.

Now, of course, Morton and Woltman will have to work extremely hard in the coming years to establish themselves as regulars in the Liverpool first team.

But we think that both the teenagers have the potential to make it big at Liverpool.
