Liverpool could turn to Florentino Luis as a replacement for Fabinho as he nears a move to Saudi Arabia.
Benfica star Florentino Luis is one name on the Liverpool radar as they chase a new midfielder.
That is according to Sky Sports News reporter Melissa Reddy, who claims that Liverpool have been looking at Florentino.
Reliable Liverpool reporter Neil Jones has also suggested on YouTube that he thinks Florentino is a name that could come into consideration for the Reds.
Liverpool are hunting for a defensive midfielder with Fabinho now seemingly heading for the exit.
Al Ittihad have launched a move for Fabinho and the Brazilian is expected to move on for around £40million.
There are still details to iron out but the expectation is that Fabinho will head to Saudi Arabia soon enough.
The 29-year-old leaves a massive hole in Liverpool’s midfield and the Reds are searching for a holding midfielder.

Who is Liverpool target Florentino Luis?
Florentino could fit the bill for Liverpool although he doesn’t quite bring the experience of Fabinho.
The 23-year-old has been with Benfica since the age of just 11 having risen through the club’s ranks.
Florentino was handed a first-team debut at just 19 and was being backed for a huge future.

A loan to Monaco didn’t really work out though and Florentino started to get back on track with a loan move to Getafe.
Back with Benfica last season, Florentino really impressed as Benfica romped to the title in Portugal.
Florentino dazzled under Roger Schmidt and Liverpool appear to have been keeping close tabs on the midfielder.
Compared to Casemiro over in Portugal, Florentino would fit the mould of a holding midfielder but Liverpool may yet prefer to go for somebody more experienced for such a vital role.
