Liverpool signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a scary prospect

Liverpool have been linked with a spectacular swoop for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang played under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp in the Bundesliga and The Express report the club are keen on a January switch.

The Gabon striker is one of the most lethal strikers in the world, and he has scored 11 goals in 12 Bundesliga games this season despite the side’s inconsistent form.

Aubameyang would be a terrific signing for Liverpool, and seeing him at Anfield would be a truly scary prospect.

Liverpool’s attack is one of the league’s most prolific, scoring 33 goals in 15 Premier League games so far.

Mohamed Salah has been a revelation, and Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have all had big games.

Aubameyang linking up with the quartet would be devastating, and they could cut opposition defences to ribbons.

Liverpool’s side would probably still not be able to catch up with Manchester City this season as their defensive problems would still exist, but Aubameyang might let them outscore almost everybody they come up against.
