The Reds ex-striker and Premier League legend was in the squad for six Merseyside derby clashes and won four of those.

It’s derby weekend in the Premier League and Sunday will see the two main teams on Merseyside lock horns as Everton host Liverpool at Goodison Park.
Jurgen Klopp’s charges are currently top of the table and won the reverse fixture 1-0 last year, courtesy of Divock Origi’s 96th-minute header at Anfield after Jordan Pickford’s error.
Indeed, Liverpool’s recent record against Everton is impressive – according to 11v11, the Reds haven’t lost to the Toffees in 18 games over all competitions, not since October 2010.
However, Marco Silva’s side got a timely boost on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory away at Cardiff City, with Gylfi Sigurdsson netting an impressive brace and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring his seventh of the season.
As with all Merseyside derbies, it promises to be a high-intensity occasion and one man who knows the fixture well is Peter Crouch, who played for Liverpool between 2005 and 2008 and was in the matchday squad for six such derbies, winning four and losing just one (Transfermarkt).

Writing in the Daily Mail, the 38-year-old spoke about his ex-employers’ title hopes and his own memories from the derby before going into detail about the “cage” that is Goodison Park and what Liverpool must do to leave with all three points.
“Goodison is a great place for football,” Crouch wrote. “The stands tower steeply over the pitch and, as everything is so tight, it can feel like you are in a cage. The only way you will get out with what you want is by winning the fight. It is a stadium with aggression – a lot of aggression!”
