Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could make a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window if Mohamed Salah leaves Anfield, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The report has named Liverpool among a list of clubs Haaland could potentially move to at the end of the season.
The Norway international striker has a release clause of €75 million (£62.76 million).
While Manchester City and Real Madrid are named as the major suitors for Haaland, Mundo Deportivo have added that if Salah leaves Liverpool, then the Premier League club could move for the 21-year-old, who has scored 16 goals and given five assists in 14 Bundesliga starts so far this season.
Erling Haaland would make Liverpool unstoppable
In our opinion, if Liverpool are able to sign Haaland, then the Reds would become unstoppable.
Yes, Salah is a goal machine, but he is much older than Haaland, who is only 21.
The Norway international is banging in the goals for fun, both in the Bundesliga and in Europe, and there is no surprise that clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester City want to sign him.
And for €75 million (£62.76 million), he would be a bargain for any top club.

Now, of course, losing Salah in the summer would be a blow for Liverpool, but they could use the transfer fee from his sale to fund a move for Haaland.
We all know just how good Haaland is, and one of those who rates the youngster is former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Now at Barcelona, the striker told Sport about Haaland last month: “I’m not a coach, but I think he’s a crack.
“He scores a lot of goals, he has a very good physique and a lot of speed. It’s very rare because he’s very big, but he runs a lot. It’s incredible. For his age, he is already one of the best in the world.”
