Penalties decided it though and with Kingsley Coman and Aurelien Tchouameni unable to score, Gonzalo Montiel handed Argentina the win.

The Benfica star wasn’t even in the starting XI for Argentina’s first two games but made his presence felt.
Fernandez curled home a beautiful goal to help Argentina beat Mexico 2-0 and was undroppable from that point.
Fernandez, 21, has now won the Young Player of the Tournament award and was presented with his trophy after the final whistle.
That’s a deserved award for an outstanding all-round midfielder and Liverpool will be paying close attention.

Benfica will want huge money for Fernandez but Liverpool are seemingly so impressed that they will pay whatever it takes.
Liverpool must have been impressed with Fernandez in Qatar and this award just enhances his reputation even more.
